Vehicle Detail
My GN only has 27,000 miles on it. AutoCheck is perfect (See report). I purchased the car 5 years ago and have only put 1,500 miles on it. I am 74 years old, non-smoker and the only driver. This is the 3rd GN that I have owned. I had a new ‘86 and a new ’87, but sold them many years ago. I retired & getting another GN was on my bucket list, so I searched until I found the best one. The car has been well cared for, stored indoors, mechanically excellent, beautiful and fast. This car runs, drives, stops and handles like new. Interior is outstanding…..looks and smells like new. Headliner and visors were replaced due to sagging with factory correct color fabric. As you know, the paint on GNs left a little to be desired, so I had this one professionally repainted – stripped and added 10 coats of base & clear…it really shines. I wanted to play CDs, so I installed new radio. Amplifier was added (in trunk) for better sound. Power antenna works fine. Engine compartment, trunk and underside are in excellent shape. Bumper strips and fillers in excellent shape. A/C is ice cold. Mobil 1 was used in oil changes. Some of the upgrades….ATR 3” stainless exhaust, performance fuel pump and chip, Dynotech transmission & TE 60 turbo. Original instrument cluster (see photo - 22,227 miles) has been replaced with GNX VDO (see photo - 4,840 miles)….I have the original. The original cluster provided very little information to a conscious owner. $1,000 deposit due within 24 hrs of auction close. On Nov-17-14 at 09:49:50 PST, seller added the following information: As a result of the opening bid, the "Buy It Now" price as stated in the listing is no longer an option. ThanksOn Nov-22-14 at 11:52:54 PST, seller added the following information: Per an eBay buyer request...... Need to see pics of the underside of the car all areas, also door jambs, inside the fender, the complete dash, also any leaks, motor issues, Is there anything that doesn't work....Can you provide vaild documentation of the mileage. Clean Title? Has this car ever been wrecked? Attached is more information for the GN. The photos of the underside is as good as I could get without putting it on a lift. There is snow here in Indiana and I am not going to drive it in the snow with salt on the road to get the photos. There is very little rust on the underside and it is just on a couple arms & brackets. No rust on door jambs. There are NO engine issues. There is a small oil leak and a mechanic told me it was from the rear main seal. And you might ask, "how bad was the leak" ? How bad is hard to determine. Not much to me, could mean a lot to someone else. My own opinion is not too much. Maybe Mobil 1 could make it worse....I don't know. If that is true, then the leak would obviously be less. I am not aware of anything that does not work. I also have attached a copy of the report from AutoTrader. A clean bill of health......no issues of any kind, no car wrecks and lots of documentation. It says there were 4 owners, but I think one of them was a dealer.
