An excellent presentable 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible has been professionally painted in June 2013 in the Rangoon Red. I also have replaced the vinyl top with Glass rear window and new interior carpeting of July 2013.Car features Power operated top, thin-shell bucket seats with chrome trim, 352 cu in (5.8 L) FE V8 4 barrel. The overall condition of the car is good. No visible rust on body panel. Car in full operation and ready for a drive. Car was originally purchased for my recreation in summer of 2008 from state of California. Update as of June 3 2014. Car received full detail/ oil lube. Interior seats carpet and dash panel in good condition. There are few paint bubbles in the bottom rear quarter panels but not a major concern Updates as of September 21st 2014 --- the following are in full operation: all exterior lights, high and low beam, brake lights, turn signals, dealer installed foor-mouted A/C (may need recharge), power folding top, windshield wipers.Note this car was an original GALAXIE 500 convertible that was professionally converted to XL Trim Spec prior to me purchasing it in 2008.Exterior paint is very good. Chrome bumper is experiencing "pitted" area located on rear bottom half of bumper. In order to view it, you will need to look under. Wheels hub cabs has small blemishes on the chrome trim.These are the areas that will need work on to make it from a good car to a excellent/show car.Runs and drives good.Last time I offered this car it came so close to hitting the reserve. Now I realize that it really must go so I have listed with no reserve.Overall car condition is classified under the Classic condition guide as GOOD see below:Major components function properly, and the vehicle is completely safe to drive but may need minor repairs to mechanical systems. No parts are missing, but this car has been driven on a regular basis and may need a paint job and a few trim pieces re chromed or replaced.
