Vehicle Detail

1972 Dodge Dart Swinger 318 Automatic, AC, PS, 4 bbl, 81,000 original miles, runs, drives and brakes great, no issues, drive it anywhere, all gauges and lights work, original am radio does not, recent paint job looks great, no body or frame rust, trunk and floor pans are solid with original sheet metal, bumpers need to be re-chromed, perfect original interior, aftermarket carpet and headliner, some bubbling under vinyl top, new battery, new radiator, new air shocks, dual exhaust with flow master mufflers, Sounds like a big block, AC connected but not charged up, I am not sure if it works or not. original 340 air cleaner installed to fit 4 bbl, 15" aluminum wheel, rebuilt front end, tune up, solid under coated car from the south. Great reliable driver. I hate to sell but I have other project cars I want to build. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime because the car is advertised locally. I welcome anybody to come take a look at the car anytime and I can help out loading it with your shipping company. Please call me for more information or to make me an offer. No Reserve!!! Must sell. 301-674-2426. On Nov-16-14 at 09:45:12 PST, seller added the following information: Please call me if you want more information and are serious about buying my car. I can not keep up with all the texts and emails about the car. I will be posting more photos shortly and here are some other things about the car. I will be honest and describe it as best I can. I want you to know what your buying. I was told from the previous owner the car was painted and fixed up by his father in South Carolina a four years ago. I fixed a few things and replaced the air shocks ( the old shocks failed and scraped into the right rear tire), rebuilt the windshield wiper linkage, greased the pivots and replace the seals, installed new washer bottle and motor, install new headlight switch and new battery. It has a black dash cap glued over the original blue dash, The stainless steel trim looks great, the chrome on the corner windows are not pitted, the bumpers have some rust but no dents, the front windshield has a small bulls eye chip in it and looks to be original, the side glass is in great shape and they all go up and down nicely, the underneath was under coated from the factory, the floor boards and frames are very solid and clean. see pics, this car was definitely from the south, the lower quarters are original with no rust. The vinyl top looks new but it has bubbles coming up in some places, There is some small surface rust being to form in the trunk but is very solid, I would expect the front floors boards to have the same and are very solid as well. The exterior paint shines up nice but as a few minor chips. I have been driving and collecting mopars for over thirty years and this is got to be one of the cleanest original bodies I've had that's 42 years old. Over all this vehicle is in great shape and I drive it on long trips everywhere with no problems. Its a turn key car with a few things needed to take it to the next level. Cars in this condition are hard to find. I really don't want to sell it but I have some other project I want to build. Call me if you want to make an offer and please stop asking what's the lowest price I will take. Thanks, Steve 301-674-2426
