1982 Jeep CJ7 custom frame off restoration. Custom deluxe heavy one piece fiberglass body with tilt front end and custom fender flares. (Heaviest, nicest, fiberglass bodies I have seen) Gray Pearl paint on body is very good but hardtop has some bubbles and will need repainting. New Crate 350 V8 motor and B&M Automatic trans with B&M Mega Shifter were installed. Has Holley Street Denominator intake and Holley 4-barrel carb with MSD ignition. Aluminum heavy duty high performance radiator with electric fan and electric water pump. Headers with updated exhaust system and mufflers. Heavy duty custom fuel tank with shield and electric Holley fuel pump. Heavy duty custom shocks, steering stabilizer, and 4-wheel disc brakes (which is really a plus). Smittybilt custom front and rear bumpers and nerf bars. Interior has late model upgraded Wrangler seats, custom console and full custom padded roll cage. New rebuilt tilt steering column with custom Grant steering wheel. Stock gauges with new Painless wiring harness. Mickey Thompson M/T BaJa radial MTX tires (LT315/75) on Centerline wheels. Lots of chrome parts. Here is what I know of the history of this jeep: It was built by a custom shop in Houston in late 2007. The owner drove it about 600 miles and it was then parked in an enclosed garage for 6+ years (don't know why) where it was discovered and bought. I bought it from the person who found it and have since changed all the fluids and battery, gone through all the electrical system (retired electrician) and replaced the steering column. I have a new M.O.R.E. heavy duty steering box mount for it but has not been installed but will be included. I have since decided it is too powerful and too nice to use in the Louisiana woods, so I've decided to sell it. I'm sure with the donor jeep and all that's been done and added to this custom that someone has well over $20K in this one. The jeep starts and runs well, but have not driven it out of my driveway (no insurance or current tags). I'm starting this jeep off at a low "no reserve" price and will make someone a nice custom street jeep. I reserve the right to cancel this auction as it is for sale locally.
