It is a clean one ower car, is very fuel efficient and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L turbo charged four cylinder diesel engine purrs along without a miss or fluid loss. No "check engine" lights. It has a 5 speed manual transmission. The clutch is a little weak. It is not slipping but the clutch peddle is a little soft. It shifts through all gears. The brakes, steering and suspension are working correctly. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is a glossy gold. There are no major dents or dings. It is in better condition than one would expect considering the miles. You might find a scratch or two if you look hard enough. The lights and lenses are bright with no cracks. No windshield cracks but there is a quarter inch chip on the lower middle. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 25% tread (see pic). The alloy wheels have corrosion (see pic). No body rust. We would rate the exterior condition above average considering the miles. The interior is black carpet and VW leatherette. The seats are in very good condition however there is the typical wear spot on the side on the driver seat. The front seats are heated. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. There is a factory sound system with CD. All the power items such as windows, side mirrors, cruise control, sunroof, etc. work as designed. These diesel models are known to run for a long time and give superior service. The new owner will have no problems driving this car home.
