THIS IS THE CLEANEST NON-RESTORED 1964 I HAVE EVER SEEN AND DRIVES JUST AS NICE AS IT LOOKS....SUPER SOLID 1964 GALAXIE 500XL CONVERTIBLE. HAS HAD 1 REPAINT AT SOME POINT BUT SHOWS NO SIGNS OF SIGNIFIGENT BODYWORK AND HAS NO RUST UNDERNEATH. DOORS OPEN AND SHUT LIKE IT WAS A NEW CAR. WINDOWS ALL OPERATE SMOOTHLY. RUNS AND DRIVES SMOOTH, I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DRIVE IT ANYWHERE. DOES HAVE A SLIGHT EXHAUST LEAK WHEN STARTED COLD BUT SEEMS TO GO AWAY AS IT WARMS UP. CONVERTIBLE TOP WORKS FLAWLESSLY. OVERALL A SUPER NICE, SUPER TIGHT, DEPENDABLE DRIVER THAT ONLY NEEDS A SMALL AMOUNT OF TLC TO THE INTERIOR IF SO DESIRED. THE ODO SHOWS 67133 MILES AT THE TIME OF THIS POSTING AND I HAVE NO REASON TO BELIEVE THAT IT ISN'T THE ACTUALL MILES HOWEVER, THE PREVIOUS OWNER PUT 100,000 MILES ON THE TITLE WHEN LAST REGISTERED Car will be available to view with appointment as long as this auction is running including anytime over the weekend of 11/8-11/9...
