2002 Ford Escape XLT, 4X4, V6, Auto The truck had recently passed a VT. State inspection and then the engine started knocking. It sounds as if a piston rod bearing is bad. The truck starts and actually runs good. However, there is an obvious knocking sound. The tires are about 80%. The transmission had recently bee rebuilt as well, and still has a warranty. The 4WD functions properly. There are no other major component issues. One rear door stays shut. a couple minor surface rust spots.The truck is in overall fair to low fair condition. The truck can drive, but I don't recommend because of the engine knocking Because of these issues, I'm selling this truck as a parts vehicle; as is. Clean title in hand.Bids are final and binding.
