1985 GMC Sierra 2500 Suburban, fire department owned for 30 years, always garage kept and properly maintained. Starts, runs, and drives good, set up for towing FD trailers. Engine is a big block 454 ci with a turbo 400 3 speed automatic and 3.73 posi traction differential. Carburetor was replaced several years ago with an Edelbrock 4 bbl, A/C quit working long ago and cruise control stopped working about 2 years ago. Included is the 3rd row seat that was only used a few times. Mileage shown in photo is actual as of 11/3/14, however the truck is still in service and a few more miles may be added prior to the close of auction. Recent repairs include replacing exhaust manifold gaskets, fuel pump, front wheel bearings, and battery. Truck has dual exhaust that is in good condition with no leaks. There appears to be a small engine oil leak as we notice a quarter size spot on the floor. It has a manual crank roll down window and fold down tailgate. Includes a 2" trailer hitch ball and trailer brake control. Paint on the hood is faded but otherwise looks good, there are small areas of rust at the rear wheel wells as shown in the photos, a crease in the right front door, and a dent in the rear bumper. Tires are like new and a set of studded snow tires mounted on extra wheels are included. This truck is being replaced with a new pickup and will be available by the close of auction. All red lights and emergency equipment will be removed prior to sale with the exception of the driver side spotlight. The low mileage drive train alone is worth the starting price. The truck is being sold as is with no warranty and has to be picked up at the fire station in Middleport, Ohio within 7 days of the close of auction. A $500 deposit is required within 3 days of the close of auction.
