Vehicle Detail
Here is a nice, 1926 Chevrolet Superior V Landau. This was the first year Chevrolet outsold the Ford. I purchased it a few years back from a private collector and got her running, tagged it in North Carolina and then drove it only twice. She is good looking but mainly a parade car in my opinion. She is a tight fit for a big man. With TLC you should have her back on the road quickly. This is a rare car with the Landau roof with leatherette covering. All the glass is nice and clear. Car has the roll-up windshield for ventilation. She has a 4-cylinder, OHV, gasoline engine matched with a three-speed manual transmission with floor shifter. Electric start but has the crank, too. Has the original vacuum fuel pump and has an added electric one, just in case. The body is nice and has checking on the fender paint. Look s great from 8-10 feet. Wood is all good to my knowledge. Trim is nice. She has chrome bumpers and steel wheels. Aluminum radiator shell has rot at the bottom which I covered with silver tape. Have not been able to find a decent replacement. Note: The car has only rear mechanical brakes. Front brakes were not offered on the Chevy until 1928. That makes here a challenge to stop on a steep hill and could use something more hardy. You can fix that. I have some extras including the original headlights and cowl lights, a luggage rack, rim expander for changing tires, and rebuilt (I was told) transmission. She is a nice car but I have lost interest it it and would like to sell her. This is a straight sale with no trades for anything. The new owner must pick her up in North Carolina or arrange for shipping. I will help with loading, if needed. This car is sold without warranty, she's almost 90 years old, and is being sold as-is, where-is. Buyer is responsible for the car after purchase and must pay a deposit of $500.00 via PayPal within 24 hours. Balance is due it in five (7) days from the date of purchase (see payment details below) in cash or PayPal. New owner to remove the car within ten (10) days of the purchase. Failure to complete the sale will result in negative feedback. Failure to remove the vehicle in ten (10) will incur a $20 per day storage fee. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the new owner. Ask questions before you bid and I will answer as quick as I can. If you have ZERO stars or past negative reviews, you must contact me before you bid. I will remove bids that seem insincere.
