1966 Mustang Coupe (Clear Nebraska Title) with either 28k or 128k miles not sure listed as 128k to be on the safe side. The motor seems strong but the clutch will extend almost 3/4 way out before engaging. The car was last plated in 1996 and was sitting in a garage since I bought it a little over a year ago. The shock towers, floors, torque boxes are all solid with only minor surface rust on the floors. The rear quarters must of had some rust and was fixed with bondo as it is bubbling (see picture). The brakes were locked up when bought and I had to cut the front brake line to move it so, they will need replacing. The fender got buckled when unloading with no brakes the driver panic and cut the wheels and the bumper caught the trailer and bent the bumper and buckled the fender. The car has been repainted at least once. I bought a new fuel tank (included with the car) but have not installed it. I put mystery oil in the cylinders before attempting to start and replaced the spark plugs using a fuel can for supply the car fired right up. I have ran it several times and the motor seems pretty strong and the gears all shift though. I have not road tested the car as it needs the new fuel tank installed plus it will need new tires, brakes and brake lines to make it road worthy. I originally bought to car to convert to a fastback, but since I already have one fastback to restore and several other projects the wife says it has to go since she wants her new car in the garage. Since the body is so solid I hate to see it sit outside and rust when someone else can enjoy it.
