For sale here is a 1978 Porsche 911 Targa with a fully functional 3.2 EFI engine swapped in. I originally acquired this car as a rolling shell and over time have built it back into a good example of a 911, now it just needs a new home. For reasons not entirely clear to me this car is titled as a '72, and as such needs no smog in California. All the tags on the car are from a '72. Various new items and work done within the last few thousand miles:-New front ball joints and tie rod ends-New Bilstein dampers F/R-Transmission rebuilt (915, rebuilt by TLG)-New aftermarket head unit-Turbo Valve covers-Strut tower bar-New right side CV boots-Intake re-sealed-Targa top re-covered The chassis is in great shape, and the paint is about 5-foot quality. The few niggles include a non-functional speedo (which reads a random mileage, taken from a random 3.2 car) and incorrectly functioning oil pressure/temperature gauge. The gauge was rebuilt by North Hollywood Speedometer which means the issue must be in a connection somewhere. Overall, a very solid car that would make a great daily driver or weekend toy.
