Vehicle Detail

I bought this cobra kit 12 years ago and never got around to it. Kinda lost interest in cars and hotrods, that and the fact that I already had a finished one to play with, which I sold several years ago here on ebay for $20,000. This has been sitting in my shop since purchased. It has some light surface rust on exposed metal surfaces like bolt threads and things, easily cleaned up. The fuel filler will need to be rechromed or powder coated. The body has been mostly sanded but will need to be primed with an epoxy high build primer, standard stuff. This kit has the "big block" frame which is a lot stronger than standard and uses 4 link rear suspension. In Lonestar fashion it is longer and wider to fit the average (read larger) American buyer. LonestarClassics is still in business in Ft Worth Tx. and everything needed to finish the car is available from them. They have excellent customer support. They still build the BEST kit car on the market. They are not cheap and hold there value well. I bought this as a starting point (base kit) to build as time allowed. I paid $10,000 for it. I live close to Ft Worth so picking up things from Lonestar as I needed was the plan. I didnt get the bolt package because I had a better and cheaper local source. The frame and body are on a large roll around structure so its easy to move. Here is what I have. Rear inner fenders, master cylinder, floor pans, windshield, door frames with all hardware, door handles, brake, turn, running lights, door panels, pedal assembly, clutch cylinder, 4 front a-arms, sway bar with brackets and bushings, hinges for hood and trunk, prop rods, adjustable pan hard bar, 4 adjustable link bars for rear,2 headlight buckets and lights with chrome rings, fuel tank, fuel filler, 2 seats with cushions, carpet kit with underliner, fiberglass body and big block frame. There may be a few more parts in my shop. Still looking for the windshield brackets. They will be included as they materialize. Do some research on Lonestar Classics to get an idea of what these cars are and what they have available to help you build it. I have not seen a finished car sell for less than $30,000. This is a no reserve auction, high bidder gets it. If you dont have the funds dont bid, if you have to ask your wife first dont bid, if you need financing dont bid. I will answer intelligent ?s only and no you cannot drive this car home. Shipping will be expensive but can be done. I can deliver for a reasonable fee after full payment is made. a $1000 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end. Good luck and have fun.
