Vehicle Detail

Of all the Classic Triumphs to own, this is the rarest and most sought after. Less than 9000 units were produced, and the giveaway racing stripe on the hood, tells everyone that's this is the real deal, not a TR4. This vintage TR250 underwent a full restoration about 15 or 20yrs ago. It's held up quite well. We'll upgraded this unit with a new Ash-wood dashboard panel and a new Mota-Lita steering wheel to match. British Racing Green is the one true "English" color that makes these Triumphs look terrific. The paint is very good. The car starts, shifts and runs like the wind. No issues with engine and running train. The transmission was recently rebuilt, along with the front suspension in our shop... while at it, we installed a complete new clutch assembly, adjusted the valves and installed a new valve cover, and then added a battery shut-off switch. The 2.5L 2498cc 152cu.in. engine runs strong and smooth...probably because there's on less than 13K miles on it. This car has been pampered and taken care of, and is a southern state original. Rubber is very good, as is the canvas top. The bottom side is clean and shows no floor rust or accident damage. Just a great piece of 1960's nostalgia... a very nice driver....... it's no trailer queen or show car, but boy does it turn heads. Thanks for looking, now start with your best bid! Cheers, JCOn Oct-24-14 at 09:08:13 PDT, seller added the following information: One last footnote.... I never had the opportunity to take this car into the shop for detailing. What you're looking at is the way it's been sitting in my showroom. I do plan of having it detailed: Wash/Wax/PowerWashEngineBay/Shampoo Carpet/Deluxe the Leather Seats and Shine the Tires. It'll look as good as new. Wish I had done it before the photos were taken. Cheers, JC On Oct-27-14 at 11:08:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I'VE HAD SO MANY MANY CALLS ASKING FOR MY 'RESERVE' PRICE.... I HAD IT AT $30K, BUT JUST LOWERED IT TO $20K, AND ADDED A "BUY IT NOW" PRICE. EITHER WAY, THIS CAR WILL SELL.....BY HIGHEST BIDDER OVER $20K, OR WHOMEVER OFFERS THE BUY IT NOW $.On Oct-28-14 at 15:16:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes, there is a beige cloth boot cover to convertable top. Also a black vinyl tonneau cover for rain protection at the last second. Both in very good condition.
