You are looking at an iconic 1967 Volkswagen micro bus . The bus was a dry Arizona bus to start with. The paint was done in a base coat clear coat, the art work painted on the bus and trailer was done by the late Karen Krause. All new window and door seals have been replaced. Arnold Walsh did the custom interior including head liner, door panels, carpets, & has removable middle seat with a "back in the day" hippie leather belt sewn into seat. Nice original dash, restored steering wheel, custom center console between front seats, & spare tire cover to match. Mechanically sound as well, 1600 cc dual port motor, not sure actual miles on motor. Trans was rebuilt also at time of restoration by Volkstop of Tucson. Front has been updated with disk brakes as well for better stopping power. New steering box at time of restoration also. 15 1/2 gallon gas tank from a newer Volkswagen bus was upgraded from stock. The bus drives very nice!! . This vw bus has been to many vw events and won a few awards as well. Some places included are the Jerome Jamboree here in Arizona and Buses by the Bridge in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The newspaper in Lake Havasu City, AZ picked the bus out of 300+ buses to feature on their front page for the event. This bus has been part of the vw community for the last few years in Arizona. . . . . . .
