Here for sale is my Lincoln Blackwood. I am the second owner and purchased it with 30kish miles on her in 2005. She has been a great vehicle with no real issues when i had it on the road. 115k on her now. This seems to be a bit less mileage than other trucks selling for much more! She looks nicer than the pics since I didn't have time to wash her. I took her off the road about 1 1/2 years ago due to a cylinder head gasket leak. If your 5.4 hasn't gotten the head gaskets done yet, it will soon.The leak is apparently a common issue with these engines and only leaks from the inside of the engine out. NO leaking into the engine. I was very busy at work so I ran out and leased another car to commute in figuring I will get her fixed when I had time. She is at a mechanical shop now and after further thought would do better with a new home. Only 2000 or so of these made and is sure to be a collector car. She ran great when I parked her and she ran great when we started her now. No knocks, pings or other wierd sounds. She has developed a rough idle we think due to stale gas so plan on flushing the fuel injection. Aside from the head gasket, I would change all of the belts and hoses,change plugs, flush radiator, change all fluids and she should be fine. My mechanic says these engines go for 300k miles no problem. The suspension may need shocks, no big deal and when she needs brakes, a NEW set of slotted front Brembo disks are included. Never in an accident but there are a couple of issues with the body. Awsome factory paint work however the clearcoat has lifted a bit on the decklid and should be addressed. The front bumper has a repairable tear in the corner. Otherwise a very clean body with a minimal amount of dings. The interior has also a few issues but is complete. A few small repairable tears in the beautiful factory leather and a NEW set of factory floormats are included. The door panels are decent but the rear passenger side was picked pretty clean by my 5 year old when he was in his car seat. $13,000 book value on this truck in average condition. Selling for a song.
