Vehicle Detail
I am the 3rd owner of this clean 84' CR500R in really nice condition for its age (bike never torn apart or opened up.(bike has less than 30hrs. bike not raced, just play and woods ridden) . 145 psi compression cold with 3-5 jabs at kicker.(starts in 1-3 kicks, kicker pivot nice and tight as it should be) Carb boots still soft and pliable !! Wheels nice, round and straight.Original front tire(getting dry cracked , 2nd rear tire) Forks have fresh seals, fluid and OEM Honda fork boots. Rear shock in excellent condition with great damping, adjustability and beautiful chrome on shaft(bottoming snubber gone due to age).Shock linkage/swing arm bearings all nice and smooth and tight. All original plastics with scuff on tank and normal scuffs everywhere else but not cracked or broken except for repaired crack in front number plate (shown in pics). Original pipe in excellent condition with a couple small dings in front lower section(shown in pics) .DG silencer replacing oem silencer.Seat and foam nice but has a couple small tears in cover(shown in pics) Frame, number plates and pipe have been touched up in a few places over the years with paint in normal wear areas. To my knowledge, the only non original parts on bike are front master cylinder,handlebars/grips, air filter, rear tire and possibly sprockets. Bike runs excellent and suspension works nice, as it should. I bought this one as a piece to add to my collection with only 1 big cr left (cr480) to get to complete my big bore CR500 collection( i have 8 of them) but have since realized ive become a hoarder and have no room in my shop and have to keep moving them around too often for space to work. With that being said, ive decided to sell 4 of my children off to make more room(this one, 2 86's and a 97' super motard will be for sale soon as well) Its nuts to hoard them all and not use and enjoy them, so someone else should ! As always, thanks for looking and good luck bidding ! All shipping, taxes and fee's of any kind to be paid by buyer. $500 deposit to be made within 24hrs of winning bid and bike to be picked up and remaining balance to be paid in cash within 7 days of auction end. Bike listed locally as well, so i reserve the right to end auction at any time ! any questions, feel free to call Eddie at 330 620 9212.
