Late 1990 (December) build date. Completely original, numbers matching, unmolested vehicle. Clean CarFax, no accidents or damage; clean NY title. Nero exterior over camel hides. So many 348s are red – this color combination truly turns heads. This is a private sale, a personal vehicle of mine. Enthusiast owned, not a single expense has been spared on this 348 from its inception. Major 30k engine-out service completed in mid-2011, at 20k miles. Clutch was also replaced at the same time. Service records from nearly every year since 1995. Vehicle currently has just over 22k miles. According to Ferrari, the next major service isn't due until 52,000 miles or in mid-2016. The vehicle comes with two keys, factory service manual, car cover, all books/records, and the original factory tool kit in the factory leather satchel. A handful of tools and spare parts will be included as well. Genuine Tubi exhaust, the car sounds amazing. Factory Ferrari 360 wheels clad with nearly-new Dunlop tires. Original 348 wheels are in storage and available upon request. The 360 wheels really set this 348 apart. It is often mistaken for a much newer Ferrari. Most recently serviced in June 2014 at 21805 miles by a local Ferrari technician, Village Imports in Williamsville, NY. Oil/Filter/Plugs/Wires completed. This 348 is a striking example. It has been extremely reliable and enjoyable to own. It starts instantly and idles just like it should. The clutch engages perfectly, and the gears do NOT grind (even 2nd). Power delivery is excellent. The car drives smoothly at any speed; the steering and balance are perfect, and suspension is excellent. The brakes works normally and stopping power is flawless. The fans work perfectly and the car maintains coolant and oil temperature just as it should. The paint on this 348 is first-rate, with no visible flaws of any kind. There are a couple of minor scratches on the belly of the front bumper (from my driveway) but they are not visible from the front of the car. There are no dents/dings/markings. The rubber seals around the removable top and windows seal well and do not leak water or air. The interior of this 348 is exceptional. The carpets and floor mats are soft and clean, the door panels and dash are perfect, and the leather is supple and in amazing condition. There are no marks or imperfections anywhere in the interior of this 348. All “sticky” parts have been professional refinished. Considering this is a 25-year-old vehicle, the condition of the interior and exterior of this Ferrari is simply remarkable. All buttons and controls (locks, windows, lights, climate control, signals, etc.) work exactly as they should. Every gauge functions perfectly. I certainly did my research before buying this car, and I feel confident to state that it's “one of the good ones”. There are over $20k in service records, and the vehicle has been serviced annually. Last weekend I drove the car on a 300 mile round trip, and it was very enjoyable. The A/C blows ice cold, and all climate control aspects function perfectly. With the top fixed in place, the cabin of this 348 is relatively quiet and peaceful. The heat works very well, too. The power windows and locks work just like they should. There is an updated Alpine deck with cd/mp3 functions, and an Alpine 4 channel amp mounted in the bonnet. All electronics operate properly. There are no lights/warnings on the dash. All of the required lights illuminate at startup, and both check engine lights (1-4 and 5-8) disappear after about 2 seconds. I have never experience either “slow down” lights or check engine lights while driving. Both of the “mad mouse” seatbelts function exactly as they should. The engine purrs, and doesn't leak or seep at all. I can send you pictures of my garage floor if you would like! The 348 is a rapidly appreciating model, and I believe there is no better time to “join the club” of Ferrari ownership. Experts believe the 348 is strongly under valued, and that in the next 5 years values will well surpass the 328, and possibly even the 355. Unlike the 355, the 348 was an extremely limited production vehicle, with only around 8,000 total made from 1989-1995. If you look back a few years ago, 308s were selling in the mid $20k range, and now they are valued in the mid to upper $40ks. Eight years ago, 328s were in the upper $20ks, and now some sell for over $80k! I strongly believe this 348 is investment-grade. I am absolutely meticulous about my vehicles, and this 348 is no different. I spent over a year searching for a 348 until I found this car - this is a lot of junk out there. After looking at several different examples, this car was the very best I could find. I have been the sole owner/driver of this vehicle since I've owned it, and I would encourage anyone interested to call or email me with any questions. My name is Ed and my cell phone number is (716) 969-0499. Please understand that there will be cheaper examples out there, but with any Ferrari, you get what you pay for! This car is extremely nice and well cared for. As noted earlier, this 348 has been serviced at Village Imports in Williamsville, NY (Gary is the shop manager) at (716) 633-8686 for any service related questions or for a PPI. If you are comparing the 348 to the 355, do your research! I have owned both and, while the 355 is more powerful, in my opinion, the 348 is much more fun to drive. With no power steering or computer nannies, the 348 is quite thrilling, especially on a country road. I’ve done my best to describe my 348. I have owned Ferraris in the past, and will most likely own more in the future, and this example has stood out among the best. I can promise that anyone who bids on this vehicle will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a clean, reliable, “no stories” 348, look no further! Again, please call me with any questions. Ed (716) 969-0499. Please DO NOT BID on this car unless your financing is in order. A bid is a binding contract in the State of NY. I have 100% positive feedback for a reason, and only intend to do business with others with perfect feedback. The 348 is located in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. I can assist with shipping or could pick you up the the Buffalo Niagara Intl Airport (BUF), located about 10 minutes away. I would trust this Ferrari to be driven home without any issues. I am open to trades, or partial trades, up or down in value. Thanks and best of luck!
