1962 Buick Special Wagon (Rare). Production run 2814 for the 8 passenger model. The Buick Special was the motor trend car of the year for 1962.Factory 198 cubic inch Fireball V6, Matching numbers factory motor with 54000 miles.Automatic Transmission Manual Brakes, Windows, Steering. Body has minor bubbling in one or two places, however overall an extremely solid car as was not winter driven. Up until 7 years ago, the vehicle was stored in a barn for about 20 years. Vehicle was sold new in Vermont and imported into Canada much later. It has remained for about 30 years in the mild climate of BC Canada's West Coast. Last two owner never winter drove although winters in area are very mild. Floors and frame are near perfect condition and body is very solid. Bubbling indicates one or two areas do contain body work that was done many years ago. Mileage is original 54000 miles and vehicle has no issues mechanically and has been a daily summer driver. Tires are near new. Interior is also completely original and in very good condition, wear does exist but overall it is very presentable. The upholstery is in good condition with the exception of a new tear along the stitching of the middle bench seat seam, a horizontal tear on the back of the front bench seat. Headliner is in excellent shape. This car has the optional lift up seats at the very back of the car, making it an 8 passenger model. Wind down back window also works perfectly.On the blue metal painted panels in interior the car there is some patina or surface rust, which could be polished out or painted.Overall this is a very nice, very solid, very original, complete and working example of the Buick Special Wagon.Can ship to a secure location in Blaine, Washington, including fully complete export to the USA for about 600 dollars.
