Vehicle Detail
For sale I my 1971 Chevy Cheyenne C10 2 wheel drive, extremely well equipped . Original 350 4 barrel, 350 turbo transmission, factory air, tilt, power steering, power brakes, factory Tachometer, desireable two tone blue and white original paint. I purchased this truck in central Nebraska a couple of years ago. The body is very nice and mechanically great. She always starts great, doesn't smoke, Rides nice and has plenty of power. The previous owner redid the heads and I recently rebuilt the carb, replaced the water pump, and spent about $300 replacing all of the air and heater ducting, along with a new air/heat duct box. The rockers and the rest of the body are really nice, the bed wood is original and still very nice, but could be replaced if show quality is what you are after, the doors and the floor are also very nice. The truck has the rare option of factory toolbox in the bed, however included in the sale is a super solid rust free box side if a person ever desires the clean look of a regular box side. I am very reluctant to sell her, only doing so to help fund a 1957 Belair restoration I am including well over $1000 in spare parts with the truck. This includes, the previously described box side, an extra set of super rust free doors, a new inner and outer grill still in the boxes, new cab corners, rockers, all new OEM style floor supports, and other misc parts both new and used. This truck is dependable enough to drive across the country, the only thing it needs is the brakes to be rebleed, (they still work fine, been driving it like that for awhile, sometimes have to pump the brakes to get both front and back to work together). The bottom front of the passenger side front fender has some rust , either replace or patch it for about $50. The rockers look good, but the cab corners, were fixed poorly at one time by a previous owner. The floor looks great but the floor supports are rusted just like the 98% of all the rest of these trucks in the world. Basically all the truck would need to make it a $15,000 truck would be paint, carpet and maybe a seat cover, (seat looks very nice but has 2 rips in it) The good positive points are a great body, great frame, Totally spotless inner fenders and radiator support, good glass, nice interior, good tires, runs and drives great ------I don't exactly know how many miles it has, because the speedometer and odometer were broke when I got it so I replaced the speedometer with a brand new one. Even the original paint looks nice, could use a good buffing. The terms of the sale are CASH ONLY and please don't bid unless you have intentions of following through with the sale, also only bidders in the United States. I am an honest seller and will be happy to answer any questions honestly call me at 563-203-0146. Also I wont arrange shipping so please don't ask how much it is to ship, That's on your end!!!!!
