Moss Motoring May issue states: "TR7 was the best selling TR of all-times", TR7 remains one of the best handling and fun to drive of them all", "will start to rise as collectors restore the cars and put them back on the road" and "It will be the cheapest (and possible the most fun) British car you will ever own." Sharp looking convertible. Respray of original blue sometime in early 90's and still excellent gloss. New top this summer. Good tires. Runs and drives beautifully! I've taken it on Interstate drives of up to an hour to attend regional car shows. It cruses comfortably at 70+ mph without any wheel balance or alignment problems. It is probably capable of a longer distances. My only hesitation would be the lack of signal lights and gauges (Fuel and Temperature). No issues with the clutch, assumed to be the original with only 39K miles on the car. The A/C system is complete but not working. Compressor, drive belt, etc are all there. Here are some issues:- No Radio or speakers - All wiring is in place- Air Conditioning not working- Gas, temp gauge and signal lights not working.- Seats covered with cloth covers. Original seat covers are ripped and worn. Seat frames and foam are fine.- Drivers side floor pan has two small areas of rust-through. Rest of pan is solid.- Incorrect gas cap- Trunk piston supports need to be replaced- Rust spot on left-rear deck. - Bubbling in paint across front edge of hood- Windshield has slight wiper scratch.
