Clean CarFax, two owner car. Has been garaged for its entire life and never driven in the winter and rarely in the rain. Paint is perfect, interior is perfect. The car has never been hit, never been painted. Engine purrs and pulls excellently. Many performance upgrades including TRD ground effects / spoiler, TRD suspension cross bracing, Japanese import roll bar with leather cover. Exhaust system updated for better flow and horsepower. Clear title ready for purchase and drive away by its new owner, or delivery arranged by buyer. On Sep-30-14 at 10:15:28 PDT, seller added the following information: A few details on the car responsive to questions I have received. The car has never been hit, never been painted. All panels are original and clean. VIN stickers appear where you would expect them. The photos show that the doors on the storage compartments behind the seats have been removed. I still have those doors and they will come to the buyer with the car. The doors had to be removed because they could not be opened with the roll bar in place.I also have the factory original head unit, which the previous owner replaced with the Alpine unit shown in the photo. That unit played MP3's but did not have iPod control and so I recently replaced it with a Blaupunkt with iPod control, Bluetooth audio streaming and Bluetooth speakerphone functions. One other condition detail, when I purchased the car I had heard of the issues with the disintegration of the front cats in some of the early MR2s (2000-2001 ish). To be completely safe I replaced the exhaust manifold and front cats, so those are both new parts on this car and the buyer can be very confident there will not be a front cat issue of the type that occurred on some of these cars. The previous owner installed the Toyota Racing Division (TRD) body kit on the car; he told me it was a bolt on item that can be removed without leaving holes, if the buyer wished to remove it. I do not know whether that is true but I believe it to be true based on my evaluation of how these parts are mounted to the bumper supports.Similarly, the previous owner installed the Techno Pro Spirit roll bar which he ordered from Japan. I was told that is also a bolt on item and as far as I can tell it is mounted to the seat rails in the front and to existing body bolts in the rear, if the buyer wished to remove it. This particular model roll bar is rare in the U.S., but I have seen a few other cars online that have it. Because the roll bar mounts to the seat rails it provides a better longitudinal stiffness to the car than the more common MR2 roll bar that mounts only behind the seats. The roll bar is 4cm diameter titanium colored steel tubing. As you can see in my photos, it has two crossmembers (the high one you can see in the photo and a low one that is just about the lip of the bins) and a longitudinal diagonal member that wraps around the outside of each seat.Although the roll bar and body skirts are bolt-on items that are readily removed, in my opinion these really enhance the car's curb appeal and rarity compared to an MR2 without them. They are essentially unobtainable from Toyota now that the car is out of production. If you look closely you will also notice that the original Toyota badges have been removed from the hood and tail, and replaced with the enthusiast-favored Japanese logo with the words "midship runabout". (I have the original badges and the buyer will receive them with the car.) People have no idea what this car is until you tell them it is a Toyota MR2 -- at which point they usually say "very very cool".....Last but not least I have a custom set of luggage for this car: three custom bags for the storage compartments and two bags to go in the front trunk (Frunk) with the spare tire. This luggage is black with silver trim, and carries the Midship Runabout logo matching the badging on the car. The luggage can be seen here (mine has silver trim not red): Storage BagsFrunk BagsAs you can see in one of the photos, the manuals and documents are in original condition, and in many cases are still in the original bag. I have a full set of documentation for the car e.g. window sticker etc. All of this goes to the buyer. On Oct-01-14 at 14:16:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks to everyone for looking at my auction and for asking questions, I really appreciate the attention. I looked through my documentation and just wanted to note that I have a few things that might tickle one or two of my bidders. First, I have the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER and I also have the original WV registration as well as bunch of other documents from the original owner. As I've already noted the factory original service manual and owner's manual in the glove compartment are as new and often in their plastic wrap. The window sticker is complete and one piece but it was folded down to fit in an envelope. I have other service records, registration documents and the like, basically a complete provenance for the vehicle.
