Up for auction 1972 Datsun 521 Pickup I found this in a Barn yes a true barn find, the body was very solid with the exception of the floor pans which had some areas that were weak so it was patch as needed, steel was mig welded in and then seam sealed, and painted. The interior is exceptional the door panels are perfect, the seat was reupholstered, the head liner is very good, the dash is again in perfect condition,no cracks or blemishes, the steering wheel is in great condition. The radio is stock and works fine. As for the mechanical of the truck go, it runs and drives good the 1600 C.C. engine starts and runs good a little cold blooded at first start, the four speed transmission shifts fine, the clutch does not slip.The brakes are all new I removed all the side marker lights, tail lights and front turn signals all holes were were patched wih steel, the rear tail lights are 1950 Pontiac, the front running and turn signals are LED as are the back up. I have all the original parts that will be included I also have the Front and rear Bumpers, the rear view mirrors are 1932 Ford, the suspension was dropped Three inchs, I stuffed all the tire that would fit with out altering the sheet metal, The tires and rims are new The tires are Copper Cobra P245/60R15 The inside of the Box is bone stock never painted and pock solid, I used it all summer as a parts runner for car lot in that time I have had zero break downs.The truck is being relisted because I unintentionally had it listed in the wrong category,to those who were bidding I offer my apolygie. The truck is located in West Michigan and all Paper work will be done through our Small Car lot In Hudsonville Mi I will assist where needed in shipping buyer has to make all arrangments with carrier of there choice.
