We purchased this 1965 Mustang in 2003 & restored it back to near mint condition frame up over a 4 year period, 2004-2008. It has been garage kept since & in a smoke-free environment. The sudden loss of my brother in 2012 was devastating & just want to pass the joy that my brother & I had with this car on to someone who will take care of her. The photos speak for themselves. A local Auto Body Shop completed all this restoration. I have made a book with all invoices & pictures for your review of this history. I will just mention a few here. New floor pans front to back & coated for rust protection. New fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, carburetor & lines also installed. This engine has 84,429 original miles. The new paint color is of candy apple red completed by the same Auto Body Shop. The heater coil & thermostat has been replaced which makes for a toasty ride. A/C did not come with this model. Exhaust brand new from engine to tailpipe. New headlights & tail light bulbs. Dash bulbs & turn signals work well with all panel instruments working accordingly. New battery alternator with voltage regulator. Four new tires surround those original wheels & spoke hub caps. The white & red running pony interior is of a soft & supple vinyl & I was sure to match the floor carpet to the red in the seats. Door, kick panels & head liner were also replaced.
