You are bidding on one 1973 BMW R60/5 in excellent condition. This bike has been adult owned its entire life, and was used as a gentleman's pleasure ride. I am the third owner; the second owner bought the bike from the original owner when the bike was only 2-3 years old. It has been lovingly maintained throughout its entire life. The gas tank and headlight bucket have been professionally repainted some years ago using the identical paint as what came from the factory. The paint job is excellent, and the tank has a deep luster to the shine. Everything on the bike is original with the exception of the Corbin seat which came with the bike when I purchased it, the lower handlebars, Brown's side stand, and progressive front fork springs (items that I added after purchase. The bike runs very well; starts very dependably, shifts smoothly, and pulls strongly. The gauges all work properly. Overall, this bike is in very fine condition, and should last a lifetime. Nevertheless, this is being sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. The motorcycle comes with the original owners manual and complete toolkit. Feel free to ask any questions.
