This is an original Rally red 1965 Corvette stingray with original black leather interior and matching number L75 327/300hp motor . It is a highly optioned car with power windows ( A31 1 of 3809 made ) , leather seats ( 1 of 2128 made ) ,Soft ray tinted glass all around ( A01 1 of 8752 ) , factory hardtop ( C07 1 of 7787 ) , Posi rear ( G81 1 of 19,965 ) , power disc brakes ( J50 1 of 4044 made ) , 327/300 hp motor ( L75 1 of 8358 made ) , 4speed manual transmission ( M20 1 of 21,107 made ) ,Teakwood steering wheel ( N32 1 of 2259 made ) , telescoping steering wheel ( N36 1 of 3917 made ) , power steering ( N40 1 of 3236 made ) , whitewall sidewall tires ( P92 1 of 19,300 made ) , AM-FM radio ( U69 1 of 22,113 ) , and comfort and convenience group ( Z01 1 of 15,397 ) . This is a very well optioned C2 with a 4speed and all numbers matching . It runs and drives exceptionally well and shifts without any hesitation . It re-starts even after hours of driving , and is a pleasure to drive . I have driven it out at highway speeds for 1-2 hr trips and nothing bad to report . It does whatever you ask it to . All gauges are working properly including the tachometer , speedometer , and yes even the clock . The original radio works as does the power antenna . The car steers straight , drives straight an stops as it should . The interior is an original interior and shows very well for 50 years old . The seats are original and not torn , same waer as to the color of black leather but not torn or excessive wear . Carpets are clean and serviceable , dash is very clean , door panels are clean but have one or two cracks in them but have not been repaired or restored . Overall very clean daily driver interior . All glass is original and not cracked . Everything works properly as it should including the power windows , horn , wipers , blower fan , heater , turn signals , all lights even the interior lights , all dashboard , and license plate lamps work . The body is very clean and appears to have been painted in the mid 80's and has held up with some lacquer checking in the paint . I do not think it is bad and anyone who see's the car thinks it looks great but I will list paint as average fair " corvette " condition but would be very acceptable on any other 50 year old car . Chrome is original and very nice , original spare still in place . It has a very solid original frame and the "key hole and backing plates are very solid . The soft top is original and is serviceable , window is clear , some of the lower corner stiching has come loose but is very serviceable at highway speeds it is firm . The hardtop is in very good shape as well . Overall this is somewhat of a survivor car . The engine is untouched and runs very , very well . Nothing touched or modified , all numbers matching including the carburetor and alternator . Reserve is in the low 40's , realistic reserve for an Honest car . This is not a show car or a restored car . Also I have been told the front drivers side fender has had a minor repair but is original to the car . The picture of the car with hardtop on from drivers rear shows door partially closed , it closes fine sorry . Also the pictures of the seats look worse in pictures then in person , the flash makes them seem a lot worse . NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS , thank you .
