Personal Notes From The Car Owner I got my '55 T-bird about 6 years ago. This car was my Dads car, my uncle had stored it for 35+ years. When I got the car the motor was seized and was not the original motor, I pulled the motor and transmission with the idea of installing a larger mustang motor and trans in it. There were a few small dents in a fender and quarter panel I had a friend with a body shop and we pulled the dents (did not fill them) I wanted to paint the car the same color as one of my Choppers so I had the shop sand the complete car getting ready to block and paint. In the meantime I got too busy with other projects and so the restoration of the '55 stopped. In the pics you can see some surface rust but that's all it is, there is no cancerous rust on the car. The car body was primered black just a few days ago and all surface rust was removed first. I have all the head light pieces not on the car seen in the pics. As far as I know my father was the second owner and he did drive the car on weekends and I was told that the miles are original but both my father and uncle are deceased so I would not be able to reconfirm that. γ γ γOn Sep-03-14 at 15:24:30 PDT, seller added the following information: http://s513.photobucket.com/user/savecashhere/media/20140831_1255151024x52311024x523.jpg.html GO HERE TO SEE PICTURE OF BUMPERS
