1988 Ford Mustang GT NASCAR Watkins Glen Special Edition History: This vehicle was used in the 1988 Bud at the Glen for Pace Lap Driven by the Ultimate Winner that year Ricky Rudd #26 This car was ordered into the local Ford Dealer for the race and then was delivered to the selling dealer. This is not a Ford-Sponsored Edition. Rather, a NASCAR-Sponsored Special Edition Eldebrock Intake, Under Drive Pulleys 411 Rear Gears Original Window Sticker, Intake, Gears, and Pulleys are also included. Car Runs Good and is Extremely Clean for 26 Years Old. Body very solid. Car looks great, not show perfect. Still draws a lot of attention. Minor nicks, scratches /paint flaws/ touch ups associated with survivor car. I don't believe the car has ever seen a Winter Snow. Underneath is super clean! View Pictures. New TOYO Tires. Recent Clutch Disc Starter Solenoid. Button on the shifter is for line lock (I never used it) A/C needs charge Car has over 100,000 miles and 26 years old, You are buying a classic not a NEW CAR. However it is Still very Quick and Powerful. No major oil leaks, some seepage as you would expect from engine of this age. Sounds good, no Knocks, intermittent cold lifter tick disappears quickly. The Car is a Blast To Drive it is hard to believe it is over 25 years old! The Red Interior is in amazing condition, most are usually faded away.
