1957 S-100 Shortbox. BD 220 Engine with 3 Speed on the tree. I bought this truck 10 years ago with intentions of making a street rod out of it. As you can see I haven't gotten very far so I'm selling it. Will make a great street rod or restoration project. Front grille and hood are dented pretty good, other than that it has mostly minor dings. Windshield and some of the windows are cracked. As far as rust, the lower tail gate, and left cab corner are rusted through. Has just a little rust through on floor and that is on the removable foot panel so it's a easy fix. Motor is loose and complete except starter is missing. With this truck you will also get a good Windshield, Grille, Hood, and used cab corner. I think I also have a good Valance for behind the grille. I will have to check on it as it's in my storage 70 miles away. I also have a starter to go with that may or may not need rebuilding. Original front bumper is in box and will need a little straighting. Headlight rings are pretty nice. Previous owner told me this was a running truck when parked in 1988. Was having carb problems at the time. This will need total restoration but will make a great truck !!! I am also selling the Rusty 97 Dodge Dakota I was planning on putting the 57 IH body on. It has high miles but runs good. I drive it to work every day. Has the 318 with auto trans. This little truck really moves. Very dependable, drive it home. Winning bidder has first chance to buy it for $1000. If they don't want it I will list it after. With the extra parts and the Dakota you have most of what you need to build a nice truck !!!
