Vehicle Detail

1962 Morris Minor Traveller, right hand drive. This is a No Reserve auction. Please don't ask to end the auction early. First time Ebay bidders please contact me by email before placing bid. 52 photos of the Traveller can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/12285689@N00/sets/72157645961315740/ A restoration project that needs body panel replacement. I purchased the vehicle in the condition you see it now. I encourage you to take a look at the photos and call me with any questions you may have. The restoration is beyond my capabilities, that is why I am selling it. You are welcome to come by and view the car before the auction ends. I live in NE Florida near the Georgia border. Use this as the excuse to make a trip to the beach. Engine is a 948cc. VIN number from engine indicates it is a Gold Seal engine (if you are not sure what this means, this link to an MG website gives a pretty good description) http://mgaguru.com/mgtech/engine/be100a.htm I don't know if the mileage is genuine, although the speedometer and odometer are in good working order. The Morris runs fine and it is the hit of the local cars and coffee, a true beach cruiser. Brakes and clutch are in good order. The car features front disk brakes. Tires are in excellent condition. Exhaust system looks new as does the seat belts. There are several new wood pieces, but it is not a complete set. There is no new wood for the rear doors or for the inside of the vehicle. The new wood side pieces were built to make the Traveller a van, thus the frame has slots for aluminum panels instead of grooves for windows. This wood will come with the Morris. We have found the gentlemen in North Carolina who made the wood pieces and he can complete the set and/or modify the existing pieces to allow for sliding windows. He has been making these Morris wood sets for a number of years. The vehicle has a clear Florida title. It appears to me that all of the major interior components are there, but I have never owned a Traveller before so I can’t guarantee that there are no missing pieces. Call me at 865-599-0294 if you have any questions.
