Vehicle Detail

1984 Mustang GT-350 T top car - loaded SUPER LOW RESERVE First I just want to say this is the a real GT350 Anni car, with the buck tag still on the car to prove it. It wouldnt have ANN on the tag w/ the matching last 6 of the VIN IF it wasnt the real deal. The fact that its a Rust Free AZ CAR is even better ! This is one of the RAREST GT350 Anni cars you could find and one of the most desirable. Factory T TOPs / 5.0 / AC / 5spd/ car ... someone checked all the right boxes when they ordered this car. It was off the road for about 10 yrs, but recently had some money thrown at it with a new water pump (possibly Timing chain too, dont recall) and the 5 spd was gone thru and pretty sure they did a new clutch and fuel pump too. Holley carb is new. ODOMETER shows about 66700 k on it, but chances are its turned over, but the car is pretty rough but keep in mind, it did sit about 10 yrs too, so maybe it is original miles. Even though this car needs alot of restoration , inside and out, at least you are starting with a well documented RUST FREE AZ CAR and those are the easiest to restore and even better, pretty much all the parts you need for these cars are available on market. 1984 GT-350s production numbers are pretty low and well documented 2604 where 5.0 5 spd Hatch cars / how many came with T Tops, well is less maybe 10 % ? So its easy to estimate about how many where built and 30yrs later , how many of those are left on the road. Probably would be a good idea to get a Marti Report. I drove this car home after I bought it and recently just been driving it up to the local convenience store once a week to keep things lubed up. The motor has plenty of torque and power like a Stang should and shifts well too. Read on for more specifics about what I know the car does need you cant see in the pics. OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE CARS WHERE MADE BACK IN THE DAY and we all know NOT MANY ARE EVEN LEFT ON THE ROAD ANYMORE. DRIVETRAIN: the original 302 4v V8 runs well and sounds good. It does have a new Holley carb on it, but it will come with the original dual snorkel air cleaner in the hatch area (just not the original carb). Right side has a oil leak, think from the valve cover thats pretty bad after driving it 10 min or more. The 5spd trans was just gone thru by the previous owner, and clutch was done too. AC all intact but not working, heater core is bypassed. New water pump for sure up front, and again, I think they also did the TC too. Dont recall all what was modded on the exhaust so far. As far as I know the rearend is all original and stock. The pics do show a pretty clean engine bay. Buck tag still intact. INTERIOR: the AZ sun and last owner where a little hard on the car Over the last 30 yrs. Dr seat has the typical unwanted movement where I bolts to the floor, door hinges are worn and sagging, and overall the whole interior needs to be redone. But at least it looks like the original seats are there and the important 20th Anniversary medallion on the pass side glove box area is still there. T Tops are also in good shape too. Also for some reason, the last owner tack welded on a thin piece of sheetmetal where the inner door panel use to be. It can be removed pretty easily but I just wanted to mention It in case you didnt notice it in the pics. EXTERIOR: the car has had some bumps over the yrs but most this old all have. Keep in mind, our reserve is really low and we plan on selling the car. Paint has been redone at least once on most of the cars body. It looks much nicer in the pics then in person, but you wont find any rust holes in the floors or body etc. Glass looks to be all okay too. The cowl area has been dented, probably from a hood flying up sometime in its lifetime. Hood itself looks good though. SUSPENSION: basically all stock, and it feels worn in areas. Im sure it will need some bushings etc soon. The original wheels etc are gone, car comes with the 14" chrome mods shown in the pics and some older tires. This particular model I believe has the quad shocks in the back and not the slapper bars. Overall again, the car decent for a daily driver but will need Some stuff right away to be safe, mainly fix the dr seat not fully bolted down or floorboard issue. It may even be just a broken bracket to the floor, I didnt look all that close. This car IS your typical rust free Arizona car. These cars rarely even come up for sale anymore Check out ALL the pics below -----> it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. Heres a great chance to buy the Rust Free AZ GT 350 project youve been looking for.Whether you restore it back to stock, resto-mod it Very few this nice come up for sale anymore.
