Stunning 1980 Mercedes-Benz 280CE Coupe (W123)This is a three (3) owner vehicle. Have all documentation from original owner to myself. This includes original Bill of Sale, All Receipts for repairs from All Owners.When I acquired this vehicle in July of 2000, it was time for a restoration. The car had over $15,000.00+ both mechanical and body done. The body included two (2) new front doors, (2) new front fenders and was a semi frame restoration. New stainless steel exhaust system. Car was ultimately finished and re-painted in original color: Mercedes-Benz "Manganbraun". This restoration was completed by "Star Mercedes-Benz" in Bristol, Il. in approximately 14 months.Color is Manganbraun with M-B Tex Palomino InteriorVehicle is an exceptional 1980 in - line 6 Coupe.Car is a strong runner and would be a reliable daily car.What the car needs: New Dash Overlay - Dash Has Cracked in Southern California Sun, Possible New Seals (Typical 80's MB with over 80K miles, does leak oil), Rear windows work occasionally, power antenna does not retract (But Stereo/CD player does work), Passenger window switch needs to be replaced, A/C needs to be recharged, but otherwise Heat & A/C b low strong. The original First-Aid kit has melted in the extreme desert temps (See Pic) and top of back seat seams have come apart (See Pic), there are three rust bubbles from Mid-West, that have not changed since car has been in California (See Pic), Brakes. Odometer stopped and mileage is most likely closer to 150K.What car has had recently completed: New ignition switch system (2011), ALL fluids (Oil/Filter, Transmission, Differential, Coolant and New Battery (October 2013), New Wiper Blades (2013), New Tires (2012)Car is being sold "As-Is" with no implied warranty and buyer is responsible for shipping, his/her local/state taxes, license and title fees.
