This is a 1960 Ford Thunderbird hard top. This vehicle is in need of restoration. There is rust present in different areas namely the hood front edge, bubbling of paint on both sides, there is filler present on some panels. Exterior paint is faded in places mainly the hood and trunk lid. The interior is in reasonable condition with good seats front and rear. Some dash panel switches are worn or missing (lights) and the vinyl dash where it meets the windshield is cracked and will need replacing. All glass is intact as is the headlining. Tires have some dry rot, but hold air. The radio although present does not work. Not sure if all gauges work. Lights appear to be okay. Brakes need work. I am sure the mileage is not correct. New or fairly new items. Battery - Exhaust system and clock! New shocks front and rear. Engine seems to run well with no smoke, there is rust on both manifolds. Exterior paint color is Red with White roof, Interior is Red and White. In 1960 when it left the Wixom plant it was all White but it was later? repainted Red. I have had this car for a short time planning to renovate/restore it, the vehicle is basically original with no modifications. However ill health and the accompanying medical costs and my advancing age is preventing me from completing this project. I strongly recommend and welcome an inspection prior to any bid and suggest the vehicle is transported due to the uncertain condition of the brakes. I have purposely painted a gloomy picture of the vehicle because I do not want to mislead or otherwise claim that it is something that it is not. The photo's will help.
