We are selling a 1966 Plymouth Fury III Convertible. The car has been garaged the last 25 years and is in great shape for it's age. This is a runner/driver car but will need some work, it is really the perfect project car. Drive it while you work on it! It comes with the super reliable 318 poly engine and the legendary 727 torqueflite transmission. Click here to see the car running on YouTube. When we got the car it had been sitting for about 15 years in a garage (NOT a barn). The previous owner had lower quarters and trunk extensions put in but the person working on it never really finished it which is why the 1/4's still have some primer on them. The top was put on new just before it was parked and is still in pretty good shape. We have been driving it around our neighborhood but to drive home it should really have a brake job done. The brakes work but they do feel a little weak. The drivetrain feels pretty strong and the bones of the car are solid. The interior is pretty nice as well but the mice got into it a little. We have most of that cleaned out however. The car needs a little love but it is super hard to find project convertibles this nice anymore. Most have rusty 1/4's or trashed interiors, this has neither. These things have such a nice ride with the super long wheelbase and torsion bar suspension. The car is located in Olympia, Washington, which is about an hour south of Seattle, Washington and an hour and a half north of Portland, Oregon. Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car, but some things were probably missed. This is a nice driver but it is not perfect and this is being sold with no warranties expressed or implied. We accept Money Orders, Cashier's Check, or Wire Transfer. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending. Payment must be made within fourteen days of the auction finishing. The car must be either shipped or picked up within thirty days of the auction finishing. We reserve the right to end the auction and cancel bids at anytime as the car is for sale locally.
