THIS PORSCHE SUFFERED A GAS TANK FIRE WHILE IN A SHOP FOR FUEL PUMP SERVICE .. INSURANCE PAID OVER 10K BASED ON PRE-FIRE CONDITION..THE DAMAGE INCLUDES HOOD AND RIGHT FRONT FENDER PAINT,(THE PANELS DO NOT FEEL WARPED) CRACKED WINDSHEILD, SOME UNDERDASH WIRING, GAS TANK EXPANSION TANK, WINDSHEILD WASHER TANK, MISC COWL PLASTIC PARTS.. SOME INTERIOR SMOKE DAMAGE, BUT DASH AND GUAGES LOOK FINE.. ALSO SOME FLOOR PEDAL ( CLUTCH-BRAKE AND GAS PEDAL) DAMAGE... INCLUDED WITH THE CAR IS A COMPLETE WIRE HARNESS OFF ANOTHER 1975 CAR AND THE EXPANSION TANK FOR FUEL TANK.. I TOOK ON A MAJOR RESTO ON ANOTHER CAR SO I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS PROJECT BUT WOULD BE A EASY FIX.. NOW THE GOOD NEWS... THIS IS A SUPER RUST FREE CAR THAT SAW NO WINTERS AND AND HAS PILES OF RECEIPTS FOR RESTORATION AND MAINTAINENCE FROM 2010 ON TOTALING $7042.39... THE 88K MILES ARE CORRECT AND IT RAN AND DROVE AWSOME BEFORE THE FIRE..THE CAR HAS 4 BRAND NEW MICHELIN DEFENDERS ($504) ON THE STOCK RIMS AND ALSO COMES WITH THE 4 ALUMINUM AFTER MARKET RIMS AND TIRES.. THE MANTA EXHAST ($ 305.00) WAS IN 2013...THE CAR COMES WITH A CAR COVER AND THE FRONT BRA... THE 1.8 ENGINE STILL HAS ITS FACTORY FUEL INJECTION AND HAS BEEN UPDATED TO ELECTRONIC IGNITION.. THE RECEIPTS COVER NEW CLUTCH (2012) STARTER (2011) STRUTS/SHOCKS ( 2010) ALTERNATOR/BATTERY/MASTER CYL/ ECT ECT.. TO MUCH TO LIST.. PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I CAN TAKE ANY PICTURES REQUIRED... THE SALVAGE TITLE REQUIRES DOT INSPECTION AFTER REPAIR IS ALL.. CAR IS NOT RUNNING BUT RAN PERFECT BEFORE FIRE THIS SPRING.. TRAILER LOADING AVAILABLE On Aug-23-14 at 11:01:23 PDT, seller added the following information: fire was caused by broken trouble light during fuel line service... not sure i would trust right front tire unless remounted and checked... On Aug-23-14 at 12:05:42 PDT, seller added the following information: lots of questions which i appreciate... keep in mind the gas tank will have to come out and be checked for seam leaks and new fuel pump .. fuel lines.. and wiring under the tank replaced..brake and clutch master cylinders im guessing... the reserve is about what the engine is worth so im not going to make to many excuses but car is to nice not to fix.. On Aug-24-14 at 18:40:32 PDT, seller added the following information: please understand this is a repairable auto... no you cannot fly in and drive it home!!! the extent of the fire damage really wont be known untill it is being repaired.. i think it is minimal and a easy fix but i restore cars... insurance totaled the car so remember it is sold as is... also please do not bid unless you understand how it works and will follow thru with purchase.. i insist on keeping my perfect ebay rating so yes, please ask questions. On Aug-26-14 at 05:28:35 PDT, seller added the following information: the second owner who i bought the car from stated the first owner was a doctor who had it for 35 yrs and drove it in good weather.. that explains the lack of rust...even the " hell hole" under the battery is solid...
