1998 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with four doors,4x4, short wheelbase. The engine and transmission/ transfer case all work great and no leaks. Has dana solid front and rear axle that is in good shape. Has steering stabilizer for the ram on it. No death wobble. Brakes work like new, but it need shocks. It has 3500 coil springs in the front that give it a little lift. The ball joints and tie rods are all good , but it had a little looseness in the steering that is most likely the steering box.The body is solid, only a couple small dents, and surface rust under the driver door and on the rear bumper. The paint job is very bad. The previous owner said the original paint was flaking off and he didn't want it to rust so he sprayed it black . It needs repainted and the original color is green. All the door jambs and under the hood all still green. It looks ok from 10 yards. The bed has rhino liner in it, but it is flaking off. It has good tires and has a reese hitch. The interior is rough. Dash is cracked bad. The driver seat is wore out . The carpet is stained , and the steering wheel is wore out. The head liner needs replaced. It is currently out of the truck, but it and the sun visors go with it. The radio works , but only one speaker. The good thing is the A/C works. This truck is in rough condition, but runs great. It would make a good work or hunting truck. I drove it 200 miles yesterday , and had no problems. Its not that bad on gas for having a 360 in it. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
