Vehicle Detail

This is a 69 El Camino Resto Mod. Recently finished. Not frame off but very close to it. Here are just some of the things we did. I have receipts for everything: $9,000 Just finished paint, upholstery, interior. $1,800 Brand new tires and Chip Foose wheels $1,200 New dash with all new Autometer cobalt blue gages $400 Tonneau cover $800 New SS grill and all new chrome trim (except for the bumpers), and badging $400 All new light fixtures (including marker lights), bezels, seals, weather striping $650 New custom dual exhaust with Magnaflow series 4 mufflers $500 New B&M shift kit, megashifter, holeshot 2000 torque conv. California car all it's life (until I trailered it to Arizona last fall). This car has NO rust, NO bondo, and is perfectly straight. Just finished the paint and interior. We used real Viper Red two stage paint. The Viper Red is set off by a brand new set of tires and Chip Foose wheels (17s). The car had a brand new complete Hotchkiss 2" lower kit, I prefer a taller stance so I put stock springs and heavy duty KYBs on. I still have the old ones so you can go back to the 2" lower if you prefer. The 454 had been done around 5000 miles ago so I didn't need to touch it. I did the 400 turbo transmission with B&M shift kit, holeshot 2000, Megashifter, less than 500 miles. 12 bolt 3.73 rear end (not posi but easy upgrade). Edelbrock air gap performer manifold, 600 and 750 cfm Edelbrock carbs. New Edelbrock goodies: fuel pump, braided lines, air cleaner, valve covers, etc, etc. Disk brakes in font, drum in the rear, less than 500 miles on those. Hooker headers, 2 1/2" custom exhaust with magnaflow series 4. Don't expect to be able to sneak home late at night with this thing. We put on a new SS grill, and all the chrome around the car has been replaced (bumpers didn't need it, they're in great shape). We also put in all new light fixtures (And not just the bezels). All the lights work properly, including the side markers. I have all the original cans, buckets, bezels. Original seats with new diamond tuck upholstery, door panels also. Brand new dash with all new digital auto meter gages (cobalt blue, very cool at night). Upholsterer also built us a custom consol with stereo, speakers and shifter. Speaking of the stereo, that's a 7" motorized touch screen. It plays everything but 45s. CD, DVD, TV, AM, FM, iPhone, USB, memory card, aux input and you can even plug your movie camera in and watch as you record. The painter also sprayed in a new bed liner. New tonneau cover that fits flush inside the bed. New sport side mirrors painted to match, and of course all new badging. It needs: Factory air, but needs a compressor. Gas gage needs a new sending unit to be calibrated correctly. Rear view mirror is cracked. Dome light needs a bulb and cover. Can't think of anything else, except this thing is a blast to drive and draws big attention on and off the street. I do have all of the original equipment that came off the car, should be worth a few bucks at the swap meet. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
