Vehicle Detail

1971 Honda CT70 Up for sale is my custom built “Hot Rod” CT70 modified. This bike is very unique in many ways. Everything on this bike is new and custom of some sort. This bike turns heads everywhere it goes due to its unique look and deep sound. Everywhere I stop people gather around it in admiration. The Bike has a California title in my name. This bike was built by none other than Mini Trail Madness in Glendora CA. The bike is fast with lots of torque. Because it is still in the break in period I have only had it up to 45mph. Starts on first kick. You will be amazed when you go to kick it over on how much compression it has. 190lbs on the compression test. Manufacture date 8/71 Fame # CT70-186971 Engine # CT70E-244843 Engine: CT70 cases, CT70H 4 speed trans, 4 down shift pattern, TB parts stroker 108 stage IV kit, high volume oil pump, anodized head cover with matching cam cover, Chrome race pipe with removable baffle, TB parts heavy duty clutch, 26mm Mikuni carburetor, as seen in the pictures I had the lower end of engine all polished, custom temperature gage dip stick. Of course, all new gaskets and seals. I change the oil every 15 miles. I know that it is not necessary, I am just using precaution. New chain, front sprocket and chromed rear sprocket. The motor has 41 miles on it. I have the jetting just right. The spark plug is a perfect golden brown. You don’t want it too rich, but you want it lean as possible. You can lean it out more after the break in. Break in period is 150 miles. Wheels: Chrome wheels from Doctor CT70, center brake hubs polished with new seals and brake shoes and pads, disc brake front end, inverted 45mm front forks, Pirelli SL26 street tires that stick like glue to the road, front in 130/90-10 and the rear is 120/90-10. Frame: The fame, front fender and headlight bucket are powder coated a pearlescent tangerine orange. It is an amazing color in different levels of light. I like it best at dusk, that is when it seems to be the most vibrant. It is very hard to capture the true color in a photo so that’s why I photographed it is so many angles and stages of light. The frame has “SIG” decals that stand for Sig Sauer fire arms. The reason for that is the frame had a small dent in the frame that I noticed after it got powder coated. I repaired the dent with some bondo and then put the decal over it. Once again, totally custom. The speedometer has been restored and turned back to 0 miles and is an eighty mph from a SL90. It has custom matching controls with levers that adjust in and out. Custom length clutch cable to match the control and engine. New key switch, wire harness, tail light, tail light bracket, seat, brake switch, brake springs, foot brake, kick start lever, gear shift lever, “Trail 70” frame decals with “stroker” in white. Notice the metal extra-large head light bucket. Also take notice of the headlight bucket mount to the forks. The foot pegs were disassembled and powder coated gloss black and the hardware was re-zinced for a nice detail touch. It has a new sealed battery and rectifier. New bars that the stock lever perches were ground off and re-chromed. The handle bar mount was polished and new handlebar knobs. The horn button and hi/low switch is Honda NOS turn signal/horn switch that I wired to make work as a hi/low. I did this because there is no room on the right handlebar for the horn button as seen in the pictures. The handle bars are a wide stance for better stability at higher speeds. New dual chrome mirrors. New polished extended rear swing arm with heavy duty rear gas shocks. There was a hole in the front fender from someone else’s doing so I put the skull there to hide the hole. I also used the same skull bolts to mount the license plate. There is a small scratch in the rear of the front fender seen in picture. Almost forgot the new BBR throttle control. The bike looks “BAD ASS” you won’t be disappointed. There is an extreme amount of time and money in this bike. Bid only if you intend to follow through with the payment. I have described the bike to the best of my ability so look closely at all the pictures. I take tremendous pride in the workmanship of my bikes and value my 100% good feedback. BID WITH CONFIDENCE YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED! Payment and Shipping: A $2000 deposit is due 24 hours of the close of auction by PayPal.
