Vehicle Detail

Purchased this car in 2004 and it has been mostly garaged since.Replaced exhaust system with original dual exhaust system from Kanter Auto Products.Had worn front end parts corrected. Had brakes replaced. Had transmission serviced. I can email receipts to you.We have used this car in several local parades and high school home coming events.Other than that we have just taken top down drives on weekends locally. Please email me for additional pictures and video of the car being driven. The car runs well and looks good. The vinyl top was new when we bought it and it is still in basically the same shape. All components of the convertible top function, relays, motors, hydraulic pumps.Until this past month, the top would run the complete cycle from stowed in the trunk to erect and locked, right up to the point of closing the rear deck. At that point the cycle would stop and I would have to close the rear deck by operating the rear deck motor with the key switch on the rear quarter panel.Similarly, with the top erect, I was able to operate the top with the top switch, opening the rear deck, unlocking the roof, retracting the roof into the trunk, and again it would stop and I would have to close the rear deck by operating the rear deck motor with the key switch.I had the upper back panel limit switch rebuilt and had the rear deck switch re-keyed and when I had it all assembled, the rear deck closed. I thought it was all fixed. But then for some reason, I stopped getting power to the top switch. Jumping the top switch, I was still able to operate the top but the top up limit switch became dislodged, I replaced it but then got the system out of phase some how.Currently, the top is stowed in the trunk, but the upper back panel is not completely erect. I can't get the rear deck to open and it won't completely close because the upper back panel isn't completely erect. While all motors work on the windows, the passenger side currently isn't getting power for some reason. It was two weeks ago.I have to use the over-ride setting on the master switch to operate the driver side. I want to be as forth coming about the car as I can. The person that sold it to me was not. It's a great looking car, it runs well, and the top and windows, have functioning components but need some tweaking. I just don't have time to do this.I have all of the important books to accompany the car:Shop ManualWiring DiagramsRear Window operation and trouble shooting manualvacuum system drawings. This will be a great driver for someone that has some time to tinker with the wiring and get it all straight.
