I am listing this for my brother in law John. He drove this until an ATV accident left him wheelchair-bound. He had hoped to equip it with hand controls, but it would have cost too much. He is selling this because now he needs a vehicle with a wheelchair lift. I have the clear title in hand and the truck is currently non-op with the DMV. Built in Van Nuys, Ca, it was used by the school district in Idyllwild Ca. It was sold and driven locally. It's been in the family since the early 80's. It was last driven in 1990. Any local old-timer would recognize it. It ran when it was parked. It is stored in my yard outside of Reno Nv. It has a replacement 235-6 and a 4spd. It was originally a 3spd. It has the enclosed drive shaft. There is no rust-through anywhere. There are some spots where bondo is obvious. The grill was damaged when a tractor tried to push it with it's bucket when it was stored. I do have a straight grill being listed locally on Craigslist. It has a bunch of used spare parts. Also an original shop manual in not-so-good condition, but leather bound by John. The gas tank is trash. Replacements are on EBAY. As you can see, the interior needs a lot of work. The fold-down seat is in good mechanical shape. The clam shell doors will not open from the outside. I had to climb into the back to get them to open. No holes were cut for a sun roof or extra windows. It has a lot of years worth of dirt and patina that I have not attempted to remove. I will need a deposit of $500.00 via PayPal or cash within 24 hours from closing. The balance will be due upon delivery in the Reno area or pick up. I encourage local previewing.
