It's rare to find a 1998 C3500 in this kind of shape. It has under 14,200 miles and is in excellent condition. It was owned by an old farmer who used it mostly for hauling cattle and hay to market. He was the original owner and it is being sold by his estate. It was well maintained and was kept in a shed. It includes a custom made wooden bed liner with floor make of 1 inch unfinished hardwood boards and a wooden step bumper that is supported mainly by the rear hitch bracket . No holes where added to the truck for the bumper or liner. There is also a set of old red sideboards included. The sideboards were originally made for a 1958 Ford and were modified over the years and are badly worn. It runs like new and has no mechanical issues. Other than routine maintenance, the only thing done mechanically to it that I am aware of is the alternator was replaced. The bed liner kept the bed from being scratched or dinged so it is like new. There is no damage to the paint from rubbing on the liner, bumper, or side boards. Cargo bed is about 97.5 inches long. 5 speed manual transmission. Vehicle is located near interstate 80 exit 242 in Pennsylvania. The price is the same with or without the wood. The wood is currently off the truck and will remain so until the buyer sees the truck (don't want to cover anything up). If you don't want the wood you don't have to take it. I think all of it would fit on the back of the truck with the tailgate down, except the roof. I will help install the wood if you wish. There was a rubber mesh under everything to prevent paint damage. I saved the mesh when I took off the wood. It was okay, but it is used and over 10 years old, so I would probably get new mesh just to be safe. Also, there are 4 pieces of PLASTIC THAT GOES ON THE REAR CHROME BUMPER. They are included with the truck. They were removed and stored when the wooden bumper was installed. They areLong piece that sets on top of the entire length of the bumper.Two pieces that cover the top edge on each side of the step.A piece that sits on the step. There are three knock-outs in this piece for a bumper towing ball. None of them were knocked-out. I did not install them because if the buyer does want to use the wooden bumper, they would have to be removed again. I will install them if the wooden bumper is not going to be installed.
