Great car for a restoration project!! First point...we are the original/only owners of this vehicle and can supply answers to questions. Second, while the car will run, it currently has a starting issue. It previously had the same issue. When I took it to be repaired, it was a bad fuse. The car has a manual transmission that requires the clutch to be pushed in to start. I believe the problem to be in the neutral/safety switch system. It also has a replacement fuel pump that was installed about 3yrs. ago. Background info: This was my wife's driver until she became disabled. Most of the last 12+ years it has been garaged with very little starting/driving. The body is straight with a few parking lot dings. None are serious. No rust. Rear bumper paint has faded to reveal the yellow primer/plastic. Sun roof and hatchback are tight. Shocks on hatch need replaced. No issues with flip-up headlight assemblies. Radio will turn on, but with static. The power antenna will not raise or lower, although the motor runs. All glass is original with etched security numbers. The windshield has a large birdseye that occurred when the car was 2-3 yrs. old and has never spread or leaked. Leather wrapped steering wheel has begun to break down. Tires have very few miles, but are 10+ years old. Shipping: This car will need to be trailered or put on a transport if you are the winning bidder.
