Owner History - Current owner is the second owner, both owners were non-smokers and did not own pets. Title is clean and clear (new DC title received when we moved one year ago, see picture). Transmission Condition - Currently runs (we still drive around town regularly) but needs transmission replaced - early model Mini's had issues with CVT transmissions, it's a known issue that led to a class-action lawsuit levied against BMW and very few mechanics will try to rebuild and suggest complete replacement. Transmission issues started ~9 months ago with "jerky" acceleration/deceleration, currently runs louder than normal with a faint "knocking" and "whirring". I took it to a dedicated transmission shop 2 months ago and got the bad news that it definitely is the transmission, but nobody could say how long it might last as-is. Other Mechanical Condition - Brand new radiator and hoses. Cold A/C, no problems with heat and A/C. Belt has begun to squeak on initial takeoff; Driver window needs motor replaced (won't roll down); Driver door handle/lock interaction needs work (opens after unlock, but need to push a little harder than normal to open). Oil filter will need replaced at next oil change. External Cosmetic Condition - Small (~half-dollar-sized) paint chip on passenger side; Clear protection on two racing stripes on hood are peeling; 4-inch crack on rear bumper (picture); One rear brake light is out; No rust, overall looks good for 10yr-old vehicle. Internal Cosmetic Conditions - Current and prior owners non-smokers; All Leather interior, very good condition, slight wear on the side of the driver side seat.
