Vehicle Detail
2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Description:This Jeep is a clean, low mileage, vehicle that was modified to be very capable on the trail but still remain comfortable on the street. I drive it at 70 mph with no concern and without any shimmy in the steering wheel. An alignment was just performed when the tires/wheels were added less than 500 miles ago. It has been stretched in the rear with a triangulated 4 link setup that's mounted to a trussed D44 (specs itemized below). The body armor and tube fenders are all painted to match the silver color of the Jeep and the underneath has been under coated. The front and rear differentials were recently serviced. The rear drive shaft CV joint was refurbished by a local drive shaft shop after one of the techs noticed some play. I've done my best to list out the modifications below but I know I have not captured them all. As you can see there has been a lot of time and money put into this Jeep build. I've set the reserve low, and am not the type of person that believes modification dollars add 1:1 to the vehicle's value. Please take your time when looking at the pictures to sort out the details of the modifications and ask questions if you have any. I'm happy to take additional pictures or video if requested. Other Notables:The new 37" tires replaced some 35" tires (Cooper Discoverer on stock Rubicon rims) that have like-new tread. While the 35" tire/wheel set is not included I would let it go with the Jeep for an additional $500. It's a set of 5. There is a slow leak the driver's front axle seal - something I've just lived with. There are a few rattles here and there when off-road, but nothing consequential or concerning. The muffler has dual output with one pipe going out the side (in front of the passenger rear wheel) and the other going straight down. That was done to give the muffler a mounting point, but looks a little odd when under the jeep. Bidding:If you have fewer than 20 feedback, or less than a 97% positive rating please contact me prior to bidding. I have done my best to represent this Jeep as completely as a I can so make sure you have read the details and are ready to complete the purchase if you are the high bidder. Payment:A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours. The deposit should be made through Paypal and the remainder of the winning bid can be paid by either cash, cashiers check, or wire transfer. I will not accept a personal check. If the transaction is not completed within 10 days the buyer forfeits their deposit unless we come to terms on a different schedule beforehand. If you're a serious buyer and have to make arrangements to pick it up or pay for it, just let me know before you win and we can work something out. Returns/Refunds:If, upon picking up the Jeep, you feel that it was misrepresented in a major way I will refund the deposit and cancel the transaction through eBay. Shipping:Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will be of assistance where I can be but the burden of pick-up or shipment is on the buyer. Feel free to ask questions or request additional information about the Jeep. Thanks and happy bidding! On Aug-21-14 at 17:55:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Revision: I've included a link here with more pictures:http://photobucket.com/albums/t584/lukegriz1/2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon The pictures will show you top-down views, more interior, close-ups on paint blemishes. Please take a look and let me know if there's something else you want to see. One other thing I should have noted is that the speedometer is off slightly because of the gear ratio/tire size. It's a difference of roughly 5 mph when traveling 70 mph.
