Here is what I know about this car: I bought the car in December 2010, with 67,000 miles. I ran a carfax before I purchased it: the report showed the car had been in accidents in 1999 and 2003. No additional information was provided. Since the title was never salvaged, I assume they were minor accidents. It now has about 113,000 miles. I drove this car to Grand Forks, ND from Erie, PA last summer with all my belongings packed in it and a full cartop carrier with no problems at all. I have had the oil changed every 3000 miles for as long as I've owned it. A few years ago, when I was doing a lot of highway driving, I was getting about 33 mpg. Have not recently figured it. Here is what I have had done since I purchased it (I have documentation of pretty much everything): tuned-up at 85,000 miles 5/12 (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel system)new Diehard battery this past winter 10/13new fuel line 10/13right front axle 12/12catalytic converter 1/13muffler 9/122 rear struts 9/12windshield 10/12horn 9/12rear brake shoes 8/12brake lines, power steering linerear wheel cylinders 8/12fuel filler neck 11/11master cylinder 11/11front calipers 11/11serpentine belts 5/12harmonic balancer 5/12starter 6/12front hoodheater blower motorrear speakersrear O2 sensor (7/14)right front rotor (7/14)other exhaust work (7/14)Will have new windshield washer pump and fresh oil change by the time of sale.Here is what you need to know: · Runs and drives great. · Tires are fair to good, front driver’s side: 1/8”, front passenger: 3/16”, rear driver’s side: 1/8”, rear passenger: ¼”, spare: 1/8”. Rear passenger has a very slow leak, inflate it about once a week. · The serpentine belt makes some noise when the engine is cold. I had the same problem about a year and a half ago and my mechanic tightened the belt, which fixed the problem until recently. · The third brake light (on the rear dash) is missing. · None of the keys fit the trunk, so I assume the trunk lid was replaced at some point. I have to open it from the latch under the driver's seat. · The lighter does not work. · No AC · No cruise control · There is a little rust on the car, nothing major. Some body work and patching has been done in the past, not the best work as seen in the photos. · Interior is in good condition, could use detailing and floor mats. · Stereo is fine, has cassette player. Drivers’ door speaker is missing. · Sometimes the driver’s side rear power lock does not work so has to be operated manually. · Some of the trim is loose. · No jack. The car is ugly. I had made an appointment to have it painted about a year and a half ago. On my way home from school one night I hit a huge deer, breaking the windshield (replaced) and denting the front and rear driver's side fenders and both driver's side doors. At that point, I gave up hope that it would ever look nice and just half-assed whatever body work absolutely needed done. Very little rust on the car, but it has dents, loose trim and some really crappy paint. Driver's door does not open completely, probably about 90%. The car is located on Tulane Drive in Grand Forks, ND. If you would like to look at it or drive it I will do my best to make myself available. Car is sold as-is and no refunds unless it can be shown that I have intentionally misrepresented the car, which is not the case. I have done everything I can to disclose exactly what is being offered so that there are no problems after the sale. Upon receipt of payment I will issue a receipt/bill of sale. When you arrive to pick up the car at Grand Forks, I will sign over the title and provide any other reasonable documentation requested and all the keys. At that time the car is yours and your responsibility. You are entirely responsible for licensing, titling, registering and insuring the vehicle and you will be responsible for any associated fees, premiums and taxes. It is possible that we can reach an agreement for me to deliver the vehicle. That would be an agreement entirely independent of the terms of the sale. I would require compensation for my time and any expenses. I will provide you the cost of delivery and the terms and you will pay for that delivery in advance via PayPal. If delivery is not arranged, you are responsible for picking up the vehicle in Grand Forks. I will not arrange shipment. If the vehicle is not picked up within two weeks of sale it will be deemed abandoned property unless other arrangements have been made. Payment due within 48 hours of end of auction. If you are handy with cars, particularly body work, this could be a reliable car for you for a long time. Blue book at over $1800.
