Vehicle Detail
This is a 1967 GTO convertible, it is a non matching numbers 4 speed car. The engine is a 1967 WT GTO engine, that was rebuilt about 2 years ago at a cost of about $7000 including the cost of the engine. It was bored 30 over and was built to go fast, and it sure does. I have the receipts for engine work. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed m20 out of a 69 GTO. I have added front disc power brakes . I have installed a modified original am radio for am/fm and various inputs. The car has just about new everything from seat covers to dash pad to the top (Robbins,1 year old). The car has PHS documentation, a low option car, console, rally 1 wheels, and sport steering wheel. Has a rebuilt steering column. The paint is good; minor chips and scratches, glossy, 10 footer. The dash cluster is a new install, all wiring harnesses are new, seat covers, rug ,,rear arm rests, all lights work.. Clutch is new, tranny works fine as does the rear. It is not a trailer queen, but I have won trophies at local car shows. Have to run it on premium. New exhaust system from Performance Pontiac, crossover exhaust, chrome is good Electronic ignition is new (HEI, summit racing ). Top motor and lines are all new. My high torque power Master Starter is back on the car. In the winter it spins free until it warms up, usually 3 or 4 attempts. I will include the original starter that has a heat issue, I also just replaced both battery cables, the positive had broken wires (about 75% broke) which might cause the slow cranking . I put about 2K miles on it and it had 82K when I bought the rolling chassis . The original color was gold with a back top. There has been body work done to the car prior to my purchase. New floors, and trunk panels. This is an awesome car that gets plenty of attention, you wont be disappointed, deposit will be returned if you change your mind upon seeing the car for any reason. No warranty of any sort. I reserve the right to end the auction as I do have the car listed locally. The issues with the car are the speedometer, the input piece is loose causing the speedometer to jump. No reverse light switch. I had an oil leak that I fixed this past weekend, a leak on the valley pan was dripping down on top of the timing chain/water pump cover. Test ran the car for 1 1/2 hours no leak. Any questions feel free to ask. If you want more specific pictures just ask.On Aug-12-14 at 13:52:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I just replaced the starter with a new hi torque power master starter, so the starting issue is repaired.
