Att: BARN FIND 1979 HURST OLDS. This car has been sitting in a barn for 15 years. Purchased from San Diego Ca. for a restoration project . To many projects I must sacrifice a few. This car is 1 of 537 examples produced with T-tops. Total production in "79 was 2499 with 1334 of them being ebony black & gold and 1165 cameo white & gold . "79 was the first year the HURST Package was put on at the factory. I pulled it out of the barn and in a few days we had the dirt knocked off and the original 350 olds rocket running like a champ. The brakes seem fine and transmission seems to work fine. Everything is there minus the original 8 track am fm radio. There is surface rust under the back drivers side window and by the molding on the pass. door. The trunk lid and the hood have rust holes but are common olds cutlass parts. The drivers side back fender has a dent as pictured . The rest of the car is solid trunk pan , floors , rockers are good .The interior needs work seats have tears and carpet is bad . The dash pad has a crack but all the gauges and lights work . Power seats and windows work and it has all the Hurst emblems and the iconic HURST dual gate shifter also known as the his and hers shifter. The tires look like new but have been on the car in storage. The winning bidder will need a trailer because all I did is it get it running and drove it around the yard , everything should be checked out good for a road trip. Comes with a clear Ca. title .
