Vehicle Detail
1972 Buick Centurion Convertible in special order (SCO) Flame Orange. Car has 60,700 miles (that number will change as I have still been enjoying the car) Options include: A/C, Power Seat, Power Windows, Power Locks,(Has power door lock buttons on doors but locks are not installed, complete factory installation kit included), AM/FM Stereo 8 track, Tilt Wheel, Chrome Wheels, Body Stripe, Bumper Guards, Fender Mounted Turn Signal Indicators, Power Trunk Release, Remote Drivers Mirror, Passenger Side Mirror, Tinted Glass, White Wall Tires This is a strong running Centurion, I have never hesitated to drive it any distance, and still wouldn't hesitate today to drive it anywhere today. Power top works smoothly and stacks perfectly. It was featured in Collectible Automobile magazine in Dec 2007 in and article "1971-1976 Buick - Changing of the Guard. It has also been featured in 2 calendars, 2008 Buick Centurion Calendar, and 2014 Buick Boys, Going Fast With Class - Worldwide Calendar. It has taken several Best In Shows and was a consistent winner at shows. I have been taking it to a very large (1000 plus cars) local cruise the last few weeks and even in it's present state it is still an attention getter. The orange and white combination is absolutely stunning. As you can see, there was an incident with the car. I had a garage fire and the car received collateral damage in the fire. Prior to the fire this was routinely described by the Buick community as the most striking 72 Centurion out there. As you can see there is damage to the paint on every panel except the left rear quarter, some interior damage, top needs replaced, windshield needs replaced. etc. All power functions work and the fire in no way affected the cars mechanical or operational ability. Drivers side power window needs a regulator which is included. Fuel gauge can be sporadic, and while heater core is ok, one of the inlet tubes need soldered. I have provided pictures before the fire, the day I pulled it out of the garage after the fire, and the current pictures after a good cleanup.
