Sorry, I had to list this car under Porsche simply because eBay doesn't have a category for Intermeccania. I guess since they produce such a low number of cars. This little guy has been sitting in my collection for a while in California. But due to my job instability, I'm liquidating my collection. This is the second of four unique collectors cars that need to go. I just sold my mint condition classic Mini. (item 331261126029) You can see from the buyer's feedback the car was exactly as I had described it. It's the same with this beauty. This car is a rarity, in that it is correctly registered in California and smog exempt as a 1999 Intermeccanica. It's quite quick and everything you would expect from one of the last hand crafted coach builders in the world. Intermeccanica has been in business for over 50 years, take a look at the history, intermeccanica.com The biggest issue with the car is the amount of people that crowd around it. Going to the corner store or gas station can take much longer than expected when you have a crowd of 5-10 people. Everyone is amazed that you can still purchase a hand-built coach work car, with the amenities of a modern car, but the beauty of a classic. This very same car is available for build today at around $77,400 US if you are willing to order and wait for it to be built or you can have this one at a $30-40K discount. After purchasing a new Intermeccanica, you have to go through the process of importing and getting CA Smog exemption. The registration work has already been complete and it is easily insured or transferred to any US state or Canada. This car has nearly every option Intermeccanica offered when it was built. It has been garaged and babied since it was originally delivered. It shows very minor wear with 4920 Mi (6900 Km) on the odometer, in fact it really looks new. The short geared transmission and 2180 cc engine make it a blast to drive.
