Vehicle Detail

Simply Striking 1966 Ford Falcon Ranchero loaded with upgrades351 Windsor, 4 on the floor with Hurst shifter, lowered, traction bars, anti-sway bars front and back, Power disc brakes on front, electric fan, stainless steel overflow, Cragar wheels, tires have less than a 1000 miles on them, brand new custom interior, brand new Dynomax ultra flow mufflers and exhaust system and on and on. This beauty has had Thou$and$ of Dollars of Upgrades. It is a real attention grabber every where you go you get lots of thumbs up and compliments. Drivetrain Engine: Upgraded to a 351 Windsor V8 Engine, This past winter had it completely tuned up with new Ford Racing wires, carburetor rebuild, New MSD Digital ignition control. Transmission: Has a Ford 4 Speed Toploader had it completely gone through this past winter. Has a nice very smooth shifting Hurst shifter. Clutch: While the tranny was out had the pressure plate turned and a Brand new clutch installed.Cooling System: Serviced this past winter and and installed a new Flex-A-Lite Electric Fan with adjustable thermostat and manual override rocker switch in cab. Installed a Stainless Steel overflow tank. This car has an operational heating system with no leaks. Most Rancheros you see don’t have heaters that work they simply disconnect the hoses from the motor and loop them from one heater core outlet to the other which doesn’t give you any heat. I drove this several times this past winter and was toasty warm. Exhaust: This winter had a brand new exhaust system from the headers back installed. Had brand new Dynomax Ultra Flow mufflers put on it. Rear end: Previous owner said he put a Ford 8 inch rear end with posi-traction in it. I don't know how to tell but I had all new seals and gaskets put in it. Suspension / Brakes / Rolling Stock Professionally lowered for more aggressive stance, but still rides good Anti-sway bars both front and rear for much better handling, very little body roll Disc brakes put on front Dual chamber master cylinder and power brake booster for added safety Rear brakes just totally professionally gone through, had brand new wheel cylinders and shoes installed. Traction bars Custom Interior with added safety & convience features Custom front seat upholstery made to look factory but with headrests, a center armrest and map pockets on the back of the seats. Brand new carpet custom fitted with heel pad on drivers side and even the rubber ring around dimmer switch, even made a carpeted sleeve to go over spare tire ring Shoulder belts added for extra safety One of a kind dual cup holder that fits into ashtray slot. Easily removes so you can put ashtray back in as desired when showing at car shows etc Gauge set by Sunpro, had it custom painted with a black face leaving the bezel chrome Matching Sunpro Tachometer mounted on steering column Original OEM deluxe door panels with both the silver & gold trimEntire cab including the doors dynamatted including the storage area in the back of the cab under the bed Back panel of cab carpeted with a custom 3 section upholstered divider attached to the bottom for a clean look and easy access to the storage area All gauges work (even those that share the same function with the Sunpro gauge set) All lights work and the aftermarket gauges have had green LED bulbs installed to match factory gauges at nightHas 2 factory correct under dashboard courtesy lights that can be set to come on with overhead dome light when you open the doors if desired Illuminated rocker switch panel controls radio, electric fan, backup lights and one spareOriginal fuse box replaced with 2 ATC/ATO style fuse boxes for better function and more circuits Ignition hot and constant hot circuits ran back to storage area behind the seat for 2 outlets to control lighting, phone accessories or whatever. Custom Ranchero embroidered floor mats with logo Headliner is in very good condition Audio Retrosound stereo for a factory look with all the modern features. Stereo features Bluetooth plus a myriad of other inputs and outputs Retro Sound center speaker in the dash with 2 directional tweeters. This is really nice as it gives you sound separation without having to have separate tweeters. Rockford Fosgate speakers in the doors Alpine 8” Subwoofer concealed in storage area JBL Amplifier concealed under the seat with bass boost control switch for quick precise gain control Body Straight straight body, not a ripple or ding in the sides of this puppy. Had a show car judge say he had never seen a Ranchero of this era this straight. Previous owner claims to have spent $20,000 having it bead blasted, and then every ding or ripple removed and then painted. Some of the pictures were taken before I got the Bull badges and the Trim below the door back from the polishers. This is all the same vehicle just some with pictures taken prior to the installation of the trimAll the aluminum trim except for the tail lights (which have the optional backup lights in them) have been polished (they didn't really need it). The tail lights have the blue dot in the center of the lense Bumpers were re-chromed some time ago Bed color matched rhino linerAll the glass is good no cracks or repaired areas. Both windows roll up and down with no problems. The roof has a golf ball size dent and 3 or 4 other tiny dings in the roof from a tree branch falling on it. The little ones should be able to be fixed by a dent destroyer but the golf ball size one is too big for that. Other than the roof the body is perfectly straight. The body does have a few little rust spots under the paint. They are inconspicuous but would need to be fixed to be perfect. Driving the Ranchoro Good running and fun to drive, it gets a lot of attention every where you go It handles well with the suspension upgrades very little body roll and a smooth ride The brakes are great very responsive It is definitely a head turner. Wife and I have taken a couple day trips in it and everywhere you go you get thumbs ups, waves and a lot of compliments Other Registered in Washington as a collectors vehicle. I have a clear title in my name.If you want pictures of anything specific please email me and I will get them right off to you.
