1997 Mercedes E320 at the beginning and end of each paragraph. --> 1997 Mercedes E320 in very good condition. 138k plus miles. New Mercedes Benz battery, just installed in July. 4 Cooper tires installed at 127k miles. Drives great, everything works, see details below. We are selling because we are moving and need to downsize our cars. The vehicle has not been in an accident. The car has no rust. We bought the car 2 1/2 years ago at 100,000 miles in Florida, and have had it oil sprayed since bringing it home to Ohio. Oil spray is a process of coating the underside of the entire car and the insides of body panels with hydraulic oil to prevent rust from winter road chemicals. Oil spraying is common in our part of Ohio but not in most areas. It is very effective. Original paint still looks good, not faded. Car has been garaged since we have owned it. The sides of the car have some paint scratches from the bicycles of the previous owner’s children. None are through to the metal, as they have not rusted. The car has been regularly serviced since 100,000 miles by a local shop that is not a MB dealer. Maintenance items such as differential seals, control arm bushings, minor leaks etc. have been fixed as they have come up. Car does not use oil between changes. The shop tells us that the brake pads are at 60% remaining. The shop has not informed us of any needed repairs as of July 2014. The leather seats are in surprisingly good condition considering the age of the car. The driver seat is starting to show some wear but is not cracked or torn. Front seats electric with several adjustments, all work including headrest adjustment. 3 seat memory positions work, which include settings for both outside mirrors. Steering wheel has electric adjustments, they work. Cruise control works. power windows-all work fine. The childproof switch is broken, which means that the rear windows only open with the center console buttons. Heater / air conditioner control panel is digital and automatic, works perfectly. Various other controls are in this panel, all work. AC runs fine. Sunroof opens and tilts, electric, works. Factory radio with 6 CD changer in truck, all work perfectly. The rear window factory antenna does not work very well, which may be due to the window tinting film. A stick antenna was installed, which greatly improved the radio. The connector for the original antenna is still in place, so it could be reconnected. An aftermarket remote auto start device was added to the car by a previous owner. This does not work. There is a manual for this system in the car if the buyer wants to try to get it going again. This system includes a remote locking function, which does work.
